Apprentices are welcomed in various cultural structures and institutions: in central administration, in regional cultural affairs directorates, in services with national competence and public administrative establishments.

The government’s plan for the development of learning in the State Civil Service is an important tool in employment policy. Since his election, President Emmanuel Macron has repeatedly affirmed his commitment to the development of learning.  

Apprentices are now numerous in the various ministries and their operators.

The Ministry of Culture contributes fully to this citizen approach by welcoming these young professionals in its various structures throughout France: more than 1200 apprentices were recruited between 2015 and 2020.

They work in a wide variety of business sectors: human resources, IT, communication, documentation, sponsorship, cultural mediation, multimedia, gardening, tourism, gardens, photography, crafts, etc. , to prepare degrees at all levels, from CAP to PhD.

Recruitment proposals are published on the PASS portal dedicated to learning and internships. 

Important clarification: public administrative establishments and the services of the Ministry of Culture cannot recruit in contract of professionalization.

Recruitment of apprentices is also offered in public establishments in the industrial and commercial sector (meeting of national museums, national theatres, etc.). These recruitment offers are posted on their websites. These establishments can also recruit on professionalization contracts.
